Terms of Service

By accessing or using JobPilot — including the web application at https://jobpilotai-web.vercel.app and the JobPilot browser extension — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JobPilot ("we", "us", "our").

JobPilot is an AI-powered job search automation platform designed for professionals across all industries and career levels. The service includes:

• Automated job searching across LinkedIn, Naukri, IIMJobs, Indeed, Shine, and Instahyre
• AI-powered job scoring and relevance ranking
• A browser extension for scraping job listings using your own browser session
• Job application tracking and status management
• Scheduled bot runs for automated daily job discovery

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent any restrictions

You agree to use JobPilot only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the service to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent job applications
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the platform
• Use the service to scrape or harvest data for purposes other than your own job search
• Share your account credentials with others or resell access to the service
• Use the service in any way that violates the terms of service of LinkedIn, Naukri, or any other job portal
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or attack our servers or infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

JobPilot allows you to store credentials for third-party job portals (LinkedIn, Naukri, etc.) to enable automated job searching. By storing these credentials, you acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for ensuring your use of those portals complies with their terms of service
• JobPilot is not affiliated with LinkedIn, Naukri, IIMJobs, Indeed, Shine, or Instahyre
• We are not responsible for any action taken by those platforms against your account
• Credentials are stored encrypted and used solely to perform job searches on your behalf

The JobPilot browser extension operates within your browser using your existing login sessions on job portals. By installing and using the extension, you:

• Authorise it to read job listing pages on supported portals on your behalf
• Acknowledge that you are solely responsible for how the extension interacts with third-party sites
• Understand that we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access if portals change their website structure

Job scores, keyword matches, and relevance rankings are generated automatically using AI models. These are provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantee that AI-generated scores accurately reflect your suitability for any particular role. You should always review job listings independently before applying.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Changes to third-party job portal websites that break scraping
• IP blocking or rate limiting by job portals
• Infrastructure failures beyond our control

All content, design, code, and branding of JobPilot is owned by JobPilot and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without written permission.

Job listing data retrieved from third-party portals remains the property of those portals and their respective companies.

JobPilot is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Job results will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your needs
• AI-generated scores will lead to successful job applications

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JobPilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of data, or loss of business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or INR 1,000 if you have not made any payment).

You may terminate your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tamil Nadu, India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu, India.
