JobPilot ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered job search platform operated by JobPilot, accessible at https://jobpilotai-web.vercel.app. We also offer a browser extension ("JobPilot Extension") available on the Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons.

By using our platform or extension, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2.1 Account Information

• Email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth)
• Full name and phone number (optional, used for job applications)
• Professional summary and job title (used to personalise job scoring)

2.2 Job Search Preferences

• Target job roles, skills, and preferred locations
• Minimum score threshold and job age filters
• Portal credentials (email/password for LinkedIn, Naukri, etc.) — stored encrypted

2.3 Job Data

• Job titles, company names, locations, and URLs collected from job portals
• AI-generated relevance scores and keyword matches
• Application status and notes you add

2.4 Extension Data

The JobPilot browser extension reads job listing pages (job titles, company names, and URLs only) on LinkedIn, Naukri, IIMJobs, and similar portals. It does not read:

• Private messages, emails, or chat conversations
• Contact lists or connection data
• Your LinkedIn or Naukri password
• Any page outside of job search and listing pages

2.5 Usage Data

• Bot run history (when runs were triggered, how many jobs were found)
• Application activity logs

• To search job portals on your behalf and deliver relevant job results
• To score and rank jobs based on your profile and preferences
• To auto-fill job applications when you use the Apply Anywhere feature
• To send notifications about job search results (if enabled)
• To improve the accuracy of job scoring and filtering over time

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to any third party.

All account data is stored in Supabase (supabase.com), a cloud database service with row-level security. Portal credentials are stored encrypted. The platform is hosted on Vercel (vercel.com).

AI job scoring is powered by Anthropic Claude (anthropic.com). Job descriptions are sent to Anthropic's API for scoring; no personally identifiable information (name, email, phone) is included in these requests.

• Job results are retained until you delete them or close your account
• Bot run history is retained for 90 days
• Account data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion

We use the following third-party services to operate JobPilot:

• Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com)
• Vercel — web app hosting (vercel.com)
• Railway — bot worker hosting (railway.app)
• Anthropic Claude — AI job scoring (anthropic.com)

Each third party has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Correction — update any inaccurate data via your Profile settings
• Deletion — delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Delete Account
• Portability — request an export of your job data in CSV format

The JobPilot web app uses cookies and local storage to maintain your login session and remember UI preferences (such as dismissed banners).

JobPilot is intended for working professionals and is not directed at anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
